NARNIA!!!!!

Hey All,

I went and saw the new Narnia movie yesterday... amazing... loved it. Due to the fact that it was a disney movie, it didn't have some of the realistic qualities as say, Lord of The Rings (bloog, etc in the battles) but it didn't need it. My mom thought that starting was a little slow when they got to the mansion until the section part when all the action kicked in, but I thought it was fine. She is comparing to the book and the old BBC movie version (definately reccommend it if you can find it... rather all of the them, for all the books). Anyway, I don't want to give the story away....

Got to run...

Merry Christmas - From The Land Down Under

Hey All,

Just thought it'd be nice to have one last post before Christmas. It still doesn't feel the same being over here... and it's less than a week away!

SCCC had a Christmas service/concert Sunday Night and it was amazing. I am definately looking forward to the chance to work with thier fine group of musicians. Instead of doing a play or other type of typical North American Church Christmas Event (wrap your head around that one....) they had music, music and more music. Picnic on the sanctuary floor, glow sticks and prizesfor the kids... a family night out for fun and good times. I'm happy to say that I've been making new friends and went out after the service for some more good times. Of course, they don't replace all of my Canadian friends ;)....

Well, I think I hear sleigh bells.... very far away ;)..... so I'll catch ya later....

Quicktime - The music video

Hey Guys... a few mentioned that you couldn't see the music video. You need quicktime in order to see it (at either link), which you can get at the links below. Once you have that you will see a little progress bar with the play button. The movie doesn't autoplay, so you just have to start it once it loads it.

Windows XP/2000 - http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/standalone.html

Windows 98/ME - http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/quicktime652forwindows.html

Let me know if you have problems.

Here In My Heart - Music Video

Hey All,

I just posted my new music video: Here In My Heart. I'm having some server problems at the moment (which is why you may not be able to see parts of my website and titles and pictures on the blog), so you'll have to bear with me. I have 2 links below to the video. If one doesn't work try the other.

Now that was a week....

Hello Peoples.....

Well, my week was an interesting one.... I was supposed to go on a fishing trip with the family, to do some filming for a video we are making... well... the saturday before last (Nov. 26) I was feeling a little under the weather, nothing too major just a stuffy nose.... well, that night at 3 am or so, I suddenly felt really horrible. I woke up coughing and sneezing and then I couldn't breathe I wasso stuffed and gaging.... it was horrible... so the family took of Tuesday and I was in bed from Sunday to wednesday.... I played a couple games on my laptop wednesday-friday feeling much better than I had before. Thankfully, because I was supposed to be away, I didn't have to work so I was able to take the week to recover. I feel much better now, just a little tired and only a little stuffiness....

Yesterday (Sunday) I was finally able to go to a morning service at SCCC. It was awesome.... I talked to the music director, Lisa, after the service and found out quite a bit to do with the church's music. They have 3 different teams, because they have so many musicians. The team that played yesterday was "Team 2" featuring an amazing sax player (yes, sax, as in saxaphone). They also had a guy on keys, drums, bass, electric guitar, acoustic guitar, and 3 backup singers. Lisa was leading the vocals. They really have the ability to do whatever style they want, whenever they want.... a lot of potential there. Lisa herself has a masters in music and is a talented songwriter. I'm looking forward to hopefully working with them in the future.... and it appears that she is too!

I also discussed with her about my college plans. Starting in february I'll be travelling on the train 4 days a week to go to college at Hillsong, at their Hills Campus. As a student I am also supposed to be involved with a church for weekend ministry. Usually this would be at Hillsong itself, however, in would be hard for me, added another 2 days of travelling each week. There is also another variable in this big situation... if it became too hard for me travelling to Hills for school, I can switch to their City Campus which is actually closer. Hills is more well known for their music department but the City Campus may be just as good. I'll have to play it by ear. Another advantage to the City Campus is that Lisa is friends with the music director there, theoretically making it easier to do my weekend ministry at SCCC rather than Hillsong (avoiding extra travel). Again, I will play it by ear and will know more once I go to enrolement in January.

Well that's all from AUS for now....
